Shoes and sparkly things…
I'm a bit of a petrol-head and the sound of jets at airshows is music to my ears. This doesn't mean I get any less enjoyment working on delicate detail and subtle sparkles (ok, BIG sparkles). This is a selection of my fashion work for Amazon as category specialist for Shoes, Accessories and Jewellery.
I redesigned the graphic presentation
of these categories by introducing new typographic and layout treatments, completely overhauling the traditional presentation of these products on Amazon with a more contemporary style.
All product compositions and shadows have been created and re-touched in Photoshop, using
basic product images.
Recruiting future stars…
I was asked to create a flyer that Amazon could distribute at graduate recruitment fairs. The deadline was tight and minimal print-suitable assets were available. I decided to centre the theme around Amazon's iconic box. The flyer and additional inserts were presented within a card folder that also utilised the Amazon box design.
Support Japan
Amazon set up a global donation campaign, enabling customers to contribute towards the Japan relief effort after the earthquake and tsunami struck in March '11.
Post donation, customers could select from a range of custom wallpaper designs from each of Amazon's locales as a thank you. I created
the UK design.
MR2 Only
I have an interest in Toyotas — so much I own two, including a 1988 Toyota MK1 MR2 (AW11). My illustration work was featured in MR2 Only magazine, which is a monthly publication for MR2 owners and enthusiasts.
